Anyone with a complaint against a Tasmanian public authority can raise an issue with the Ombudsman. You can do this yourself or ask someone to represent you. Your local Member of Parliament can also make a complaint on your behalf.
At this time we are limiting the number of people entering the office. Wherever possible we ask that you contact us by telephone, email or otherwise in writing. If you do need to attend the office for any reason, such as to drop off or collect documents, you will be asked to wear a mask and provide proof of vaccination.
If you need assistance to make a complaint, please telephone and ask to speak to an investigation officer. If no one is available to take your call straight away, a time will be arranged for a return call.
